This questionnaire accompanies the Cinema History Video Essay Project.

Each group member should respond separately to the following questions about the project and in-class presentation. All evaluations are due the week following the presentation.

  • Did your group accomplish its specific purpose?
  • Were you satisfied with the flow and coherence of your project and presentation? Comment on the organizing strategy, transitions, order, phrasing etc.
  • What do you believe was the strongest part of the project and/or presentation, and why? What was the weakest, and why?
  • Did you anticipate audience interest and response accurately? What feedback cues did you notice and how did you respond?
  • How comfortable and confident did you feel during the presentation? What factors of preparation, situation, and context were most important in making you feel this way?
  • How well did your group work together? Did any problems arise? What would you do differently next time?
  • If you could do the project again, what would you change? Why and how?
