When I pulled up my Tumblr dashboard a few minutes ago, Gustavo Fring’s ever-so-serious face was staring back at me — not a bad way to begin a morning…well, unless you’re Hank Schrader or poor, unsuspecting Victor. Beware the box-cutter, young man.
This (faux) advertisement for Los Pollos Hermanos, the fast-food chicken joint/crystal-meth shuttle service in AMC’s intense drama Breaking Bad, joins other online fan-based products, blogs, etc.:
- Los Pollos Hermanos T-shirts
- Los Pollos Hermanos Wiki page
- Los Pollos Hermanos Facebook page and another Facebook page
- The restaurant has also come in at #2 on a list of Best Fake Fast-Food Chains.
- It’s actual location, Twister’s, graces a list of Breaking Bad filming locations.
- And Los Pollos Hermanos is the basis for a fan’s Season 4 pre-show dinner (yes, she actually made Gus Fring’s spicy fried chicken and Walt’s and Jesse’s “blue meth” for dinner — see for yourselves).
